Organic architecture

Man is not the ruler and not the conqueror of land, animals and plants; he is merely a part of his natural environment. This far-reaching insight expresses itself in organic architecture: nature and the human being are one. The environment as an organic unit and the building become one.

Each building constitutes an interference with nature and thus causes some destruction. Organic architecture is based on the principle of integration and tries to minimize that destruction.
